Playitforward.org was born out of the personal experiences of siblings Lucas and Sylvia Zvereff. Both passionate athletes, they participated in a wide variety of sports, including basketball, soccer, mountain biking, volleyball, jiujitsu, and competitive swimming. Throughout their journey on several sports teams, they witnessed friends having to drop out due to the high costs of club or high school sports.

Motivated by these experiences, Lucas and Sylvia decided to take action, founding Playitforward.org to ensure that financial obstacles wouldn’t prevent young athletes from pursuing their dreams. Our mission is to provide scholarships to students, covering their sports fees and keeping them on their teams. These fees are paid directly to the clubs or schools, ensuring that funds are used as intended.

What We Do

Playitforward.org provides scholarships to students who are passionate about their sport but need financial assistance to continue participating. Whether it's a high school soccer team or a local swim club, we cover the fees that can be barriers for students and their families.
